We commemorated VE Day in a number of ways across school.

All of our children, from Nursery to Year 6, made their own clay poppies to pay tribute to this special 80-year anniversary. The children will be bringing their amazing pieces home so that they have a wonderful keepsake to remember this special event.

We all had the most wonderful time at our VE Day picnic.  A huge thank you to Mrs Hitchman, Mrs Allison-Smith, and Mrs Quint for preparing such a fantastic picnic lunch for us all. 

Finally, at the end of the day, the children all sang beautifully for our families who had gathered to mark the occasion.
