Thank you to Dr. Cliftlands and our Worship Council for leading outdoor worship, concentrating on the Bible story of 'Jesus and the Storm'.
In their music lessons, Mayfly Class have been practising reading simple music notation and playing the beats on percussion instruments.
We commemorated VE Day in a number of ways across school.

As part of their art project on flowers, the children in Mayfly and Skylark Classes have been drawing flowers from observation.
It was a pleasure to welcome Sally from the Henry Angell-James Foundation to Whixall to officially 'hand over' the defibrillator to our community.
A huge thank you to M.P. Technology and Electrical Ltd (M.P Technology & Electrical Ltd) for installing the defibrillator at our school. The defibrillator has been kindly donated by the Henry Angell-James Memorial Trust for our community to use.
The children in Mayfly and Skylark Classes have enjoyed planting flowers to create their own 'bee garden'.
The children in Years 2 to 6 have really been enjoying their cricket sessions with Ben from Cricket Shropshire.
