Several classes visited Chester Zoo last week to enhance their topic learning.

In their visit to ⁦@chesterzoo, Mayfly Class took part in a workshop focused on conservation within the rainforest. They explored the damage being caused; what can be done to prevent it; and how animals are being supported.

Peregrine Class took part in a similar workshop. They were surprised to learn how many everyday objects we use which have a direct link to the rainforest. On their journey around the zoo, they even encountered some very active sloths!

Skylark Class used their visit to search for animals that might be found in Africa (they also found some from a little further away!). They loved exploring and seeing such wonderful creatures up close.
